The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation in government. LWV influences public policy through education and advocacy.
The goal of Turbocharge is preparing all Green Bay Public Schools students for post-secondary school education (apprenticeship, 2 or 4 year college, the military, etc.,) through earning college credits, a credential, or a degree upon high school graduation. The speakers will provide information on the benefits of the program for students as well as the economic effect on the Greater Green Bay community. There will be discussion on how parents, educators, employers, and community members can play important roles in success for all students.
Parents of students of all ages, the business community, community leaders, organizations benefiting families, and all who look to a strong community future are encouraged to attend.
